Terms And Conditions
Thank you for choosing to book with The Coach House. We look forward to welcoming you. When you make this booking you are entering into an agreement with us. Please read the following terms & conditions.
Prices & deposits
The price is for accommodation only. Our preferred method of payment is via PayPal; when we send you an invoice on confirmation of your booking, there will be a Paypal link through which the transaction can be completed. We will also accept a cheque in advance (with card number on the reverse).
Short stays (less than 1 week): we ask that you pay a non-refundable deposit of £55 to secure your booking, with the remainder of the balance due 7 days before the commencement of your stay.
Longer stays (1 week or more): we ask that you pay a non-refundable deposit of £100 to secure your booking, with the reaminder due 7 days before the commencement of your stay.
Cancellation
Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. For cancellations made up to 7 days before the commencement of your booking you will not be liable for the total balance. For cancellations made after this time or by failing to take up the booking without cancelling you will be liable for the total amount. For this reason you may wish to take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker.
Non-availability
We will only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you an alternative booking, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Arrival & departure
Check-in is at 4.00 PM on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. If you plan to arrive after 8.00 PM please let us know.
Check-out is at 10.00 AM Monday-Friday, 11.00 AM on weekends unless otherwise arranged. If you need more time, please ask.
Damages and Breakages
You are responsible for any breakages and/or damages which you cause to the accommodation and/or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the breakage or damage is significant, and we may make an additional charge if you did not report this.
Liability
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions unless proven to be caused by a significant negligent act by ourselves.
Smoking
The Coach House is non-smoking accommodation; if you wish to smoke, please do so outside and away from windows.
Pets
Pets are not permitted on the premises.
