Directions

Lichfield is easily located using most route finders and is situated just off the M6 Toll Road. It has excellent east-west road links via the A5 and north-south road links via the A38. (Click on the map opposite for a better view.)

Lichfield is well served by rail, with two stations – Lichfield City and Lichfield Trent Valley. Chetwynd House and the Coach House are within walking distance of the Lichfield City railway station. Both stations are on the Cross City Line which goes to Redditch through Birmingham. Trent Valley is also on the West Coast Main Line. Trains between Trent Valley and Euston can take as little as 1 hour and 10 minutes!

The area has a variety of bus services as well. National Express is the largest operator in the Midlands with over 450 routes serving the various towns and cities of the region. There are also a number of local bus operators serving Lichfield, Tamworth and the surrounding areas.

Sat-nav Tip

When entering the post code for the Coach House, some sat-nav systems resolve to “unknown road”. This is actually a small access road running off Borrowcop Lane opposite the Coach House. Once you get onto Borrowcop Lane, you should be fine!
