The Coach House and stables were totally refurbished during 2008 and 2009, bringing the accommodation up to modern standards. The project involved the total replacement of the Victorian roof while leaving some original features including the brick manger.
Amenities
- The accommodation includes a large sitting room with flat screen TV, Freeview and DVD player.
- The dining room is part of the old stables and contains a modern Italian lacquered dining suite with seating for six. The dining room also has a CD player.
- There is a fully equipped kitchen and ground floor shower room.
- On the first floor are two double bedrooms and both have access to a second bathroom via a small landing/corridor which provides storage and a computer table.
- There is a walk-in wardrobe off the second bedroom.
- Heating is provided via a state-of-the-art underfloor heating system on the ground floor with conventional radiators on the upper floor.
- Linen, towels and toiletries provided.
- Hair dryer, steam iron and ironing board also provided.
- Visitors are welcome to access the rear gardens of Chetwynd House including the Vinery.
- There is free parking outside the Coach House on Borrowcop Lane.
- Free wireless access can be provided on request
